According to the latest United Nations data, India with 1.3 billion people is the second most populated country in the world. In another eight years, it may surpass China and become the world's most populated country. Are urgent and aggressive steps to control population required in India? Do we need to punish those with more children or do we need better awareness of and access to contraception?
