From Bandipore, in North Kashmir, once a militant hostpot, we bring you this special report on a man who comes out to vote in a polling booth which was the exact spot where his brother was shot dead by counter-insurgents. Bandipore was home to the infamous renegade Kukka Parrey, recently chronicled in the movie Haider. Now his son and another former militant-turned-counter-insurgent were among the candidates in a district that delivered a 70 percent turn out.
