On The Buck Stops Here, former Finance Minister Yashwant Sinha speaks on why he is a hawk on Pakistan and a dove on Kashmir. He led a team to Kashmir which has called for dialogue with all stakeholders including the separatists. "What worries me is that if we don't reach out to our own people, others will, the misunderstandings will multiply, become deeper and it will result in a lot of bloodshed," he warned. On government's claims that demonetisation has curbed terror funding, he said he "didn't have a sense of that on the ground" and cautioned against being "hasty" to link winter lull to notes ban. "The peace that we see today is very fragile because underneath the lava that is burning is there in full measure and it might burst open at any point of time," he said.
