This year, the first two toppers in the civil services examination are women and seven women figure among the top 20 successful candidates this year. UPSC topper Mona Pruthi always wanted to be a part of the Indian administration. Even as she prepared for the toughest exam of her life, she was working as an officer in the Indian Revenue Service on probation at the National Academy of Customs and Excise in Faridabad.
