In Narayanpur district's Palli village, 250 kms from Raipur, about two weeks ago, Pramila Koram's water broke in the middle of the night. With the standard ambulance 8 kms away and no roads to her village, her husband Suresh Koram called the motorbike ambulance to rush her to the primary health center for delivery. Ms Koram and her newborn daughter are now healthy and have returned home.
