The Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh is mulling over the possibility of withdrawing cases against senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janta Party accused of making provocative speeches and inciting riots in Muzaffarnagar in 2013. The riots had killed over 60 people and displaced 40, 000.
