A top Jaish-e-Mohammad leader, Barqatullah Ansari alias Haider, was killed in the Valley on Sunday. The Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police conducted a joint operation in the Sopore district wherein the top Jaish commander was killed. However, three security personnel were also injured in the operation. Ansari had been operating in the Valley for the past 11 years.
