Karnataka writer Chetana Thirthahalli has alleged that she has been threatened with rape and an acid attack for writing about beef consumption. She said her 16-year-old son was also confronted on Facebook. The state government has now provided security to the writer, but the online threats continue to trouble her as her stalkers constantly change their identity. Speaking to NDTV, the writer said she would not give in to the threats and will continue to write on such issues.
