The Telengana Rashtra Samiti has stepped up its demand for a separate state. The party says its four MPs, 16 MLAs and three MLCs will resign if Congress does not decide on the state status by March 6. In 2006, TRS Chief K Chandrashekhar Rao quit as a minister of the UPA over the issue.
