The TRS government has delivered not just on its promise of water and free power, it has introduced several welfare schemes to incentivise the state's farmers for their day-to-day work. The government came up with Rythu Bandhu scheme that puts cash in farmer's hand before every sowing season to buy necessary inputs for the crop. In just seven years, the story of Telangana has changed from poverty, drought, farmer suicides, power outages, backwardness and massive exodus in the form of migration to one of all-round prosperity and progress, with abundance of water, surplus power and green fields.
