Almost 20 hours after 16-month-old Veena fell into an open borewell in Telangana's Ranga Reddy district, she remains stuck inside. Her parents are worried, but rescue operations are underway to save her, police said today. The child fell into the 60-foot deep borewell at an agricultural field in Ekkareddyguda village where she was playing with her sister around 7.15 pm. She informed her family who rushed to the spot and called the police.
