Ravi Prakash Verma, Former MP Rajya Sabha and National General Secretary, Samajwadi Party, noted an increase in cases of child sexual abuse during COVID-19 lockdown. To understand the reason behind child abuse, Mr Verma brought attention to child trauma and suggested teachers taking the lead. He said, teachers should work on child psychology and without arguing they should understand that a child is traumatised and then they should bring children out of trauma.
