Amid a massive controversy over its MP Tapas Pal's threat to get rival party supporters raped, the Trinamool Congress today decided not to take any action and "accepted" his apology, saying it was in the right spirit. The party's decision to spare Mr Pal any stronger action came alongside a petition filed in the Kolkata High Court today, demanding his arrest.
