Swami Aseemanand and three others have been acquitted in the 2007 bombing of the Samjhauta Express by an anti-terror court in Haryana. Nearly 70 people died on the train that was headed from Delhi to Pakistan's Lahore. The blast took place near Panipat in Haryana on February 18, 2007, when the train was on its way to Attari in Amritsar, the last railway station on the Indian side. The blast had ripped apart two coaches of Samjhauta Express, killing 68 people, mostly Pakistani nationals.
