A major state level youth conference of DMK in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu is underway that is critical to the future of the party. There is speculation that Karunanidhi is set to name his son M K Stalin as his successor. Though Stalin, Deputy General Secretary, DMK (Tamil) denied reports saying, ''This is not true only the media tells this, others spread this out of political motive.''
