On Friday, around 600 more paramilitary personnel will join the soldiers who moved in on Thursday and took out flag marches. Siliguri in West Bengal is tense after clashes between two communities and the army is still on standby to prevent any flare-up. Protesters in Siliguri have refused to let essential supplies into Darjeeling, which has been cut off for almost three days.
