After much speculation, Aaditya Thackeray, the son of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, said today that he will contest the October 21 Maharashtra election, becoming the first of his family to contest any poll. The young Sena leader will be the candidate from the Worli assembly constituency, a party stronghold.
