More than 100 students of Dastur Primary School were suspended for arriving at school with mehendi on their hands two days after the ID holiday. Bapusaheb Bhosale of Dalit Panther and Ambedkar Students Movement said, ''The unprecedented mass suspension first shook the children then it saw parents pleading with the authorities to let them off. But the school was adamant.''
