Protests erupted in Bengaluru and Kolar over the death of DK Ravikumar, a bureaucrat who took on the sand mafia in the state. Mr Ravi, 36, was found dead in his apartment in Bengaluru yesterday morning. Police suspect suicide, though no note was found.
