Huge parts of North India have spent the night and much of the morning without any electricity after a massive power outage. This is the worst failure of the Northern Grid since 2001. Power Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde says 60% of the power supply has been restored and he hopes for a complete restoration by 4 pm.
