After a two-hour long meeting, the UPA and the Left have agreed to meet again on October 22 to work out some middle ground on the nuke deal, averting an immediate crisis to the Congress-led government. Senior Left leader AB Bardhan has said that the government has agreed that there will be no talks with the IAEA before the Left-UPA discussions are over and has also agreed that the 123 agreement can not be seen in isolation.
