NCERT advisors quit after uproar in Parliament over cartoon controversy

Two senior National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) officials have had to resign after the government today apologised in Parliament for a cartoon depicting Dr BR Ambedkar being used in a Class XI textbook. This after there were loud protests from MPs across parties and disruption of both Houses.
