The Supreme Court has issued a notice to the Maharashtra government after hearing a Public Interest Litigation, on Monday morning, which asked for protection of north Indians in Maharashtra. The court has asked the Vilasrao Deshmukh government to respond to the allegations of atrocities against north Indians by MNS workers.
