Eight Marathi film and television actors decided to go drinking at one of Mumbai's posh clubs on Friday night but were refused entry because they were inappropriately dressed. The Shiv Sena and its rival Maharashtra Navnirman Sena have had a protest competition of sorts over this. The footwear was provocation enough for the sons of the soil.
