Mayawati was struggling for one Rajya Sabha seat in Uttar Pradesh on Friday as one of her party men cross-voted for the BJP-backed candidate and more votes she had counted on were a no-go. Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) candidate Anil Kumar Singh boasted about his act of betrayal, declaring, referring to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath: "I am with Maharaj-ji."
