Congress leader Rahul Gandhi got bail today in a criminal defamation case over the "Modi surname" comment. In his application to the court in Gujarat's Surat, Mr Gandhi expressed worries about a possible election being called on his seat in Kerala and losing a chance to represent the seat again. He also cited reasons like loss to the exchequer if a re-election is ordered.
