Kerala was the first state to have a confirmed case of the novel coronavirus in India and today it's also one of the few states which has successfully managed to start flattening its curve. The state has an extremely low mortality rate. Extensive tracking systems and follow-ups are in place. From route maps with date, time, place of positive patients being published to ground workers physically following up with quarantined families, over 30,000 health workers would be on the ground. Kerala has redrawn its hotspots clubbing the worst affected districts in the Red Zone and allowing phased relaxations in others.
