As Indians prepare to observe a one-day Janta Curfew on Sunday at the Prime Minister's behest, several celebrities, politicians and public figures have spoken in support of the initiative. Dr Imam Umer Ahmed Ilyasi, the Chief Imam of the All India Imam Organisation, has also backed the civil curfew and urged people to stay indoors.
