A teacher who was arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir police and the National Investigative Agency (NIA) in connection with a terror case died in custody. The incident has triggered protests in many parts of the state. A magisterial inquiry has been ordered to find out the cause and circumstances leading to his death. Rizwan Asad, a resident of Awantipore, Pulwama was a terror suspect, the police said. He was a arrested from his house. He died during the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday, the police said, adding that he was a terror suspect.
