An aggressive opposition wants Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to resign over what it calls the custody death of a National Conference worker last week. Hundreds of workers of the main opposition party, the PDP, were lathicharged by the police in Jammu today as they took to the streets in protest.
