After 26/11, Mumbaikars can no longer walk into a mall or a multiplex without going through the mandatory security checks and sometimes, multiple checks. Malls, cinema halls, even hospitals across Mumbai have beefed up security after 26/11. An army of private guards patrol those places. So with guards, sniffer dogs and metal detectors, entering a mall or a theatre in Mumbai today, is almost like entering the airport.
