INS Visakhapatnam, the first ship of Project 15B, is being commissioned into the Indian Navy by the Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today. The 164-metres long ship is one of the largest surface combat ships to be built in India by the Mazgaon Docks Limited in Mumbai. Three more such ships are going to be built for the Navy.
