Maharashtra Tourism Minister Aaditya Thackeray on Monday inaugurated India's first biogas-powered electric vehicle (EV)-charging station in Mumbai. The charging station can generate 220 units of energy from household waste. It will charge electric vehicles as well as power street lights.
