A futuristic Hyperloop model of high speed passenger transportation designed by IIT Madras will represent India at the Hyperloop pod competition in California organised by Elon Musk's SpaceX. This is the only entry qualified from Asia for the July event. The fastest Hyperloop pod will win the world competition. A thirty member student team has worked on this for nine months spending one crore rupees. NDTV spoke to the team ahead of the unveiling.
