The new restrictions in Haryana have increased the worries for people who cannot defer their marriages as they are now visiting offices of the district administrations for permissions. Hundreds of applications seeking permissions for marriages have been received since the curbs kicked in. Meanwhile, the owners of marriage halls have lost revenues because of the restrictions as many weddings have either been cancelled or rescheduled.
