"I am very aware that India really aspires to see the reform of the Security Council or in a larger sense reform of the United Nations. The security council is deadlocked and they are outdated. The governments must recommit to multilateralism as all nations have a say in peace, security, conflict resolution, sustainable development, and climate change," says former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon on the longstanding issue of reforms in the United Nations.
