Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, who is contesting from Nagpur South West constituency, reached a polling booth this morning to cast his vote. "This is a festival of democracy... People across the state should participate in large numbers," Mr Fadnavis said. "In a democratic set-up, we have a lot of expectations from elected leaders. For people who step out to vote, it's their right to expect from their elected leaders.... so more and more people should vote," he said. Voting began across 288 constituencies across the state of Maharashtra this morning.
