The protest site at Ghazipur border near Delhi roared back to life as at least 25,000 farmers re-joined the agitation against the new farm laws after Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait's emotional appeal. Mr Tikait, whose defiance of the eviction order served on the protesters resonated far and wide, said: "We don't have any problems with the policy of police officials but we won't let them end this protest."
