In the Vidharba region of Maharahstra, as more and more reports of farmer suicides come in, a farmer tells NDTV that more would commit suicide if only they had the money to buy poison. Over 330 farmers have committed suicide this year alone and every eighth hour, one more name adds to this shameful statistic.
