The winter surge in Covid infections across north India has sent the tourism economy into a tailspin. The Jim Corbett National Park and the Ranthambore National Park, a huge draw with tourists especially in the winter, are now looking at cancellations. During the winter, it would be near-impossible to get a room at either of these destinations. But now, empty spaces and tentative enquiries are all that hotels are getting.
