Farooq Mapkar has been awaiting justice for the last 15 years. Both an accused and a victim in the Hari Masjid firing case during the Mumbai riots of 1992-93, his trial is yet to begin. Fed up Farooq filed a writ petition in the Bombay High Court last year, demanding an inquiry into the actions of the police.
