America is a divided house. The midterm elections were said to be a referendum on a polarising President Donald Trump but it is unclear how much of it has resulted in being that. Donald Trump is certainly weaker technically but even the blue wave was no tsunami. The polls got it right largely. The voters came out in record numbers. But what will this mean for a (divided) United States of America. Perhaps, most significant will be the prospect of the Democrats using the power to hold investigations into Trump's personal finances, says the Managing Editor of US government news for Bloomberg, Mike Shepherd.
