The CID has conducted raids on the office of Margadarsi Finance in Hyderabad after allegations that Margadarsi had collected deposits from the public in violation of RBI rules. The financial firm is owned by media baron Ramoji Rao, whose newspaper Eenadu has always toed an anti-Congress line.
