Children fell sick after an incident of chlorine gas leakage occurred in a swimming pool academy at Vijayawada in Andhra Pradesh on Thursday. Gas leakage took place due to old equipment at the academy and the students were rushed to the hospital. "Due to leakage of chlorine gas in swimming pool, 10-12 students aged between 8-14 years fell ill and were sent to hospital. Gas leakage happened due to old equipment and old gas cylinder. It was controlled later. All students are stable now," said swimming pool academy supervisor.
