Along with Covid, Maharashtra has now become a hotspot of Black Fungus infections as well. So far, 7,998 cases of Black Fungus have been reported in the state, and 729 patients have died. Nagpur, Pune, Aurangabad have reported the highest number of cases. In Mumbai, 45 people have died due to the infection.
