The demand for groundworks to start for the building of a big central government-funded hospital in north Bihar -- the second AIIMS in the state -- has now led to protests in the area. The hospital was announced by the then Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in the budget of 2015, but till date its construction work has not started.
