The excess rice in the central godowns will be used to manufacture ethanol to keep up the supply of hand sanitisers in the country, the government decided today - a move that's expected to generate a huge controversy as millions of Outrage Over Hunger in the country have been pushed to the brink of starvation as countrywide lockdown started in March.
