As Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra entered Maharashtra on Monday, Kanhaiya Kumar said the aim of the foot march is to unite India. The former Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) student leader said the march, that started in Kanyakumari and will culminate in Jammu and Kashmir, aims to ensure that India not just stays unite geographically but emotionally as well.
