The Congress and the BJP slugged it out in Parliament today over the AgustaWestland chopper deal. Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar tore into the Congress saying all the bribe taking in the case happened during the UPA regime and that the BJP government can do in the Agusta case what it couldn't in the Bofors case. BJP MP Anurag Thakur even alleged that a Congress MP had met middleman Christian Michel in Dubai. The Congress hit back with MP Jyotiraditya Scindia saying Sonia Gandhi is a sherni or a lioness and the BJP is scared of her.
