President AP J Abdul Kalam will say goodbye to Rashtrapati Bhawan by July 24 leaving behind access to 340-room building spread across 20,000 sq metres. But while parties jostled to decide who gets to live next in the palace on top of the Raisina Hill, President Kalam was looking for a home.
